Intended users
For drilling engineers, drilling supervisors, wellsite supervisors, operations personnel, well-control specialists and others preparing for or maintaining IWCF Level 3 or Level 4 knowledge.
Designed for useful learning
Well-control revision
The Well Control app helps drilling and wellsite personnel revise the technical subjects commonly developed during IWCF Level 3 and Level 4 preparation. Practice covers well-control fundamentals, pressure calculations, kick warning signs, shut-in response, influx analysis, volumes, capacities, MAASP, well-kill methods and subsea well control.
Questions reinforce calculations and principles, while the glossary explains terminology in operational context. Quick Fire supports rapid recall. Real Incidents and Operational Scenarios connect technical knowledge with decisions, consequences and lessons from well-control events.
Well Control is an independent educational and revision aid. It does not provide certification and must not replace accredited training, company requirements, approved well programmes, operational procedures or professional judgement. Read the Educational Disclaimer.
